Call recording is common to OpenPhone and Zoom Phone plans. Irrespective of the interface chosen to make and receive calls, Zoom Phone allows businesses to monitor all calls for quality control purposes. Supervisors can listen to live calls, coach agents through a conversation, join conversations or take over calls. Calls can be monitored only by one agent at a time. Calls can also be recorded for later analysis. This feature is disabled by default but can be manually controlled for all calls.

Dialpad offers unlimited calling in the USA, Canada and your country for all plans. Calls to other destinations are billed at a per minute country-specific rate. For example, calls to Australia are billed at $0.03 per minute while calls to Vanuatu are billed at $1.20 per minute.
Unlike OpenPhone, Zoom Phone does not include calling to any locations in its plans.
Zoom Phone Metered plan outgoing calls are billed as per usage. Calls can be made to 150+ countries. Billing rates are based on the location being called and whether the number being called is a landline or mobile number. Calls to landline numbers in France are billed at a $0.0329 per minute rate while calls to mobile numbers are billed at a $0.126 per minute rate.
The Zoom Phone Unlimited plan subscribers can make unlimited calls to numbers in USA and Canada. This can be expanded to 19 other countries by purchasing an add-on pack. Other calls are billed as per usage.
#8 Activation
Easy setup processes for Dialpad and Zoom Phone accounts
You can create an account with Dialpad from the website and use the Dialpad services by downloading the application to your smartphone or desktop. This account can be set up with a new number or you can port your existing number. Dialpad also supports certain IP desk and room phones by Obihai, Polycom and Yealink. These devices and adapters can be purchased from the admin settings on your Dialpad dashboard or from brand retailers.
As with Dialpad, you can create a Zoom Phone account online on the Zoom Phone website. Accounts can be created with existing numbers ported to the Zoom Phone system or with new numbers. Zoom Phone services can then be accessed through applications for mobile and desktop devices or through IP deskphones. These deskphones too can be ordered on the Zoom Phone website.
